We reach out to people of all refugee and migrant backgrounds; we provide access to a support network; we enable successful participation and inclusion for an enriched and diverse Australia.About the positionThe position of a Domestic Assistance Worker will be responsible for ensuring that client’s homes are kept in a clean, hygienic, and homely condition according to the individual needs and in accordance with Spectrum standards.Domestic/Home Care:General domestic cleaning and tidying.Washing floors and other surfaces.Vacuuming and dusting.Emptying of domestic rubbish bins.Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.Removing cobwebs from ceilings and walls.Laundering sheets, towels, and personal clothing, on the premises.Changing bedding.Any reasonable task requested by the client within Spectrum GuidelinesEnsure all duties are performed in line with OHS guidelines.Encourage clients towards the maximum degree of independence and activity appropriate to their abilitiesTo be considered for this position, you will have:Housekeeping skills including safe and competent use of household equipmentVictorian Driver LicenceUse of own roadworthy, registered, and insured car during hours of workWe recognise the rich diversity of people across Australia.
