The BFRC is managed by a consortium (Diverse Families Consortium) led by MacKillop Family Services in partnership with Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre, withBroadmeadows Establish and maintain strong and effective partnerships with local CALD community groups, service providers and other key stakeholders to develop responses to community issues and opportunities regarding family relationships matters.Maintain links and connections with professionals within the family relationships, the settlement, and multicultural sectors.Represent the FRC in local multicultural and settlement networks.Develop and enhance information sharing and engagement between FRC and community groups using a range of techniques and approaches.Organise FRC community engagement activities / forums that aim to identify and address the needs of CALD communities around relationship matters.Essential:Tertiary qualifications in Law, Social Work, Social Sciences or equivalent.Alternatively, a Diploma in Community Services / community development type of work with experience in working with CALD clients and established links and connections with local cultural groups might be something to consider.Speaking another community language that represent one of the major languages /cultural groups within the FRC catchment area is preferable (Indian, Arabic, Turkish,Chaldean / Assyrian).If you believe that this opportunity is a match for you, please click on the apply button and provide a cover letter and your CV.Spectrum actively welcome and encourage applications from all candidates.
